The Gala 2026
Dear Community Leader,
I’d like to invite you to join something truly powerful. On November 6th 2026, Safe Places Miami will host its first annual 2026 Gala—an evening centered on transformation, hope, and the courage it takes to rise up.
At Safe Places, we believe every woman deserves to be safe, free, and empowered to become everything God created her to be. Our vision is bold: a future where every woman and child in the U.S. is safe from sex trafficking and exploitation. Our mission is clear: we exist to be the answer to a silent cry for help by offering women who have been exploited through sex trafficking the safety, hope, and healing necessary to become whole. By providing a comprehensive continuum of care and resources, women move beyond trauma to achieve independent living, self-sufficiency, and a lifetime of freedom from oppression.
The need has never been more urgent. Florida ranks 3rd in the nation for human trafficking, and Miami-Dade County reports the highest number of cases in the state. Without access to stable housing and trauma-informed support, 80% of survivors are re-victimized. That’s why SPM is rising to meet this crisis head-on—and we’re inviting you to rise with us.
With your help, in 2027 we will:
Open a 35-day stabilization home in Miami for survivors
Expand our Street Outreach Ministry to Clubs and Massage Parlors where exploitation happens
Continue to be a voice in the public square for the vulnerable and exploited.
Provide safe housing and holistic services to 80 survivors
Train and equip 10 mission-driven professionals to advance the mission
Open a phase-two safe home in Miami, building continuity of care for the next steps of healing
Help 90% report improved mental health outcomes
Deliver identity restoration, trauma therapy, healthcare, spiritual discipleship, and more
This gala is more than an event. It’s a movement. And we can’t do it without you.
